Is Individual Therapy the Right Step ?

If something feels heavy, persistent, or hard to name,  this space holds it.

Your Thoughts Won't Give You a Break

You're constantly in your head, replaying conversations, anticipating problems, second-guessing decisions. The mental loop doesn't pause, even when life is going reasonably well.

You're Exhausted in a Way Sleep Doesn't Fix

It's not just tiredness. Everything takes more effort than it used to. Motivation is low, tasks feel heavier, and you can't quite remember when it stopped feeling manageable.

Something Changed and You Haven't Caught Up

A loss, a transition, a relationship that shifted, or just a slow drift away from who you thought you'd be. You're functioning, but not quite settled.

You Hold Yourself to a Standard That's Crushing You

The inner critic runs constantly. You push hard, achieve things, and still feel like you're not doing enough. The bar keeps moving, and you keep missing it.

You Keep Going. But Something Feels Hollow.

The days pass, tasks get done, the smile stays. But underneath it all, something doesn't quite sit right, and you can't explain why.

We are here for you

FAQ’s

No. You don't need a diagnosis, a breakdown, or a crisis. If something feels persistently off, low motivation, a pattern you can't break, stress that won't lift, that's enough. Individual therapy isn't reserved for the worst moments. Most people who would benefit from it talk themselves out of it because they don't think their problem is "big enough." It is.

The first individual therapy session is mostly about context. Your therapist will want to understand where you are, what's brought you in, and what you're hoping for,  without pushing you to share more than you're ready to. There's no script, no intake form being read back at you. Most people leave the first session feeling lighter, simply because they said things out loud that they'd been carrying quietly.

A trusted person listens through their own history with you, their own opinions, and their own emotional reaction to what you share. A trained therapist listens without any of that. The relationship is consistent, boundaried, and focused entirely on you,  which is actually rare. That structure is a large part of what makes individual therapy work in ways that other conversations don't.

That depends on what you're working through. Some people notice real shifts within a few sessions. Others work through longer, more layered histories over time. Your therapist won't put you on a fixed timeline or pressure you to continue beyond what's useful. Progress in individual therapy isn't always dramatic, it often shows up quietly, in how you react, what you let go of, and what stops feeling as heavy.

Yes. Online individual therapy at The Therapy Park follows the same clinical standards as in-person sessions, same practitioner, same session length, same modalities. The quality of care depends on the practitioner, not the medium. Many clients prefer online sessions for the privacy and flexibility they offer, especially for a first session.

Yes. Several practitioners at The Therapy Park are specifically trained in LGBTQ+-affirming individual therapy and are aware of the intersecting realities, caste, class, culture, religion, that shape mental health in India. Queer clients don't arrive and spend sessions building baseline awareness for their therapist. That groundwork is already done.

Yes. Confidentiality is both a legal and ethical obligation for every practitioner at The Therapy Park. What you share stays between you and your therapist. The only exceptions, standard across all therapy practices globally, are situations where there is immediate and serious risk of harm to you or someone else. Outside of that, nothing leaves the room.

You can switch. Every therapist at The Therapy Park is listed with their specialisation, approach, and availability, so you choose before you book. If after your first individual therapy session it doesn't feel right, you can move to a different practitioner without friction. The decision stays with you throughout.

Individual therapy sessions are available online across India and in-person in Kolkata. Book when you're ready,  the right practitioner is listed and waiting.
